Pottery Workshop: Make a Ceramic Charcuterie Board + Live Charcuterie Demonstration

What we’ll make

A handmade stoneware charcuterie board sized roughly 12" × 8" (adjustable to your preference)

Materials & tools provided

Add surface details

Plan zones for cheese/meat/olives. Carve shallow channels or slightly concave areas with loop tools or ribs. Use stamps, texture tools, or simple lines to create segmented areas. Keep carvings shallow so cleaning remains easy.

Create finishing touches

Add holes or a handle cutout if desired (smooth edges). Ensure overall thickness is even where practical.

Workshop flow (90- 120 minute demo + hands-on segments across multiple classes)

Welcome & Introductions, mingling (10-15 min): food-safety basics, clay handling
Demonstration on how to make a charcuterie board (30-35 min)- get some inspo and then we feast on it!!!
Hands-on shaping: ( 60-70 min)
Bisque & glaze schedule explained; pick-up timeline and glaze options discussed (10 min)

Firing and food-safe glazing included; pick-up when your piece is ready (usually 7–10 days).
